What Shipping Methods Are Available?

During checkout, Customers have the choice of collecting their products from our Birmingham facility or selecting delivery.  Delivery costs are calculated on weight, with orders under 20kg charged at a flat fee of £25 and orders 20kg or over, charged at the flat fee of £55.

How Long Will it Take To Get My Package?

Orders received before 12pm will be available for collection or dispatched the next working day, depending on the selection made at check out.  Orders received after 12pm will be available for collection or dispatched 2 working days from the order.

Delivery is 2 working days from dispatch.

How Do I Track My Order?

Customers can track their order by clicking on the Track My Order link and entering their Order ID and email.  A member of our Sales Team will be in touch with an order update.

Do I Need A Account To Place Order?

You do not need to create an account and can check out as a guest.  However, without creating an account, you will not be able to access previous order history or faster check out options for subsequent orders.

How Do I Place an Order?

Items are added to your cart by clicking on the cart icon next to the product.  You can then click on the view basket link or continue shopping.  At anytime, you can go straight to checkout or view and amend your basket by clicking on the shopping bag icon in the top right corner of the page.     Once you have completed all details and agreed to the terms and conditions, you can submit your order.  Once the order is submitted, your oder has been placed and you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Where Can I find the Technical Specifications of a Product?

It is recommended that before purchasing material you review our technical datasheets to confirm that your selected material meets your desired metallurgical properties.

All of the material offered for sale on the KSM Direct website are one off items, unless otherwise stated, and sold “as is.”   If you require material with different specifications or quantities shown, you can contact our sales team, who will be happy to provide you with a quote, tailored to your exact specifications.

Can I purchase additional material at these low prices?

Offcut materials are offered for sale on the KSM Direct website as one off items, unless otherwise stated, sold “as is,” and have been priced to reflect this.   The items listed for sale  reflect current offcut stock available at our Birmingham facility,  available for fast turnaround collection or delivery. Whilst we are unable to match our heavily discounted offcut pricing on other items, our sales team will always aim to give you the most competitive price for your product.

Is the material DFA, RoHS and Reach compliant?

As a distributor and processor, the Knight Group of companies does not manufacture the products sold.

In the majority of cases, compliance requirements are the responsibility of the manufacturing mill.  Mills receive a large volume of compliance document requests and often issue a statement of compliance rather than answering individual requests.

Can you supply a Certificate of Conformity?

You can pay securely using your Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card.

Can I pay for my items when I collect?

Unfortunately we have no facilities to accept payment at our Saltley, Birmingham site.   All orders must be booked and paid for prior to collection to ensure availability.  You can pay securely using your Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card.
